In the Jewish section it offers the whole Hebrew Tanach translated from Hebrew into Polish by Izaak Cylkow as well as books from the Yiddish culture by Sholem Alejchem, Kalman Segal or Icchok Perec. Among the books translated from Hebrew one may find also contemporary literature such as plays by Hanoch Levin or Savyon Liebrecht.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Austeria can also boast of the translations from French works by Edmond Jabes, Saint \u2013 John Perse or Julien Gracq; \u00a0from Italian collections of selected poems by Primo Levi, Alda Merini, Sandro Penna, Salvatore Quasimodo, Giuseppe Ungaretti and Valerio Magrelli; from Hungarian books by Andr\u00e0s P\u00e0lyi or G\u00e9za R\u00f6hring. In the field of the Italian literature we have been cooperating with the Institute of the Italian Culture in Krak\u00f3w with whom, a few years ago, we started a series of Italian poetry collections entitled <em>I quaderni di Grodzka<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In 2021 Austeria was rewarded with a prize by the Polish magazine \u201cLiteratura na \u015bwiecie\u201d (\u201cLiterature in the World\u201d) for the publication in Polish of\u00a0 the series of books by Joseph Roth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In the same year The European Solidarity Centre in Gda\u0144sk granted Austeria the title of the Ambassador of the New Europe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Austeria has its own bookshops in Krakow (6 Szeroka st., 16 Szeroka st.
