Not so long ago, a tempting prospect presented itself to the institute. The academy requested that it start making plans for expansion on a European scale. It was given permission to take over and adapt the buildings of a former German casino \u2013 over 35,000 cubic feet of space. [\u2026] In that tiny building down beside Sopot Pier, research is conducted into issues of vital concern for all Poland, but in a very narrow field.
