Austeria Publishing House (based in Kraków, 6 Szeroka st.) offers not only the most valuable books related to Jewish subjects but also European literature, books translated into Polish from English, French, German, Italian Hungarian, Yiddish or Hebrew. In the Jewish section it offers the whole Hebrew Tanach translated from Hebrew into Polish by Izaak Cylkow as well as books from the Yiddish culture by Sholem Alejchem, Kalman Segal or Icchok Perec. Among the books translated from Hebrew one may find also contemporary literature such as plays by Hanoch Levin or Savyon Liebrecht.

Austeria can also boast of the translations from French such as works by Edmond Jabes, Saint-John Perse or Julien Gracq, from Italian, poems by Primo Levi, Alda Merini or Sandro Penna, from Hungarian books by Andràs Pàlyi or Géza Röhring.

In 2021, Austeria has been rewarded a price by a Polish magazine “Literatura na świecie” (Literature in the world) for the publication of the series of books by Joseph Roth in Polish.

Austeria has its own bookshop in Krakow at 16 Szeroka st. ( Popper Synagogue).
